We have a select group of Trustees who regularly give time to our Charity and we are very grateful for their valued input. At CWC headquarters, we assess applications and distribute these funds to worthy applications. Whatever the need, we are here to listen.

Relief in Need
With Relief in Need we look at applications from people in genuine need, always in a sympathetic light but as we can rarely afford large sums, these applications must be considered when all routes in the welfare and aid system have failed. Historically we were able to donate £1,500 to a family who lost all their possessions in a fire.

Advancement in Life
Through Advancement in Life, we have offered a grant to a young lady who has achieved access into the Norland Nanny School. We are awaiting news regarding this. We have donated to the Summer Fun in Calne Playscheme and supported applicants for funds, for example, to assist in a post-undergraduate course at Guildhall School of Music & Drama and assisted a young man to attend a Cricket School in Dubai. None of these amounts have been huge but they have often been sufficient to make a difference to the recipient. Without donations, even this would not be possible. We treat all applications with sensitivity and respect the wishes of those who apply to confidentially if they prefer it. Though we love to share our successes, we always ask permission before publicising any images or stories.
